Job Description

A growing organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its Finance team. This role supports key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across daily operations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial data is recorded accurately and in accordance with company policies.
  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and payments, maintaining organized and up-to-date accounts payable records.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries to support monthly and quarterly financial close activities.
  • Review employee expense submissions for accuracy and compliance with policy, including reconciliation of company credit card transactions.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, schedules, and supporting documentation for management review and external audits.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred:
Experience with accounting software
