Job Description
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing construction project schedules to ensure timely project delivery. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to monitor progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
This is a long term contract to hire experience ideally located in Fort Washington, PA. This is an in office M-F 8am - 5pm opportunity. Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling software

Establish project timelines, milestones, and critical paths

Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master construction schedule

Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly

Analyze schedule impacts due to delays, scope changes, or resource constraints

Prepare schedule recovery and mitigation plans when delays occur

Perform critical path method (CPM) analysis

Support project planning, sequencing, and phasing strategies

Generate progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and dashboards for management and clients

Participate in progress meetings and provide schedule-related input

Assist with delay claims, time extensions, and forensic schedule analysis when required

Ensure schedules comply with contract requirements and project controls standards
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field
-
3–10+ years of scheduling experience in the construction industry (depending on seniority)

Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and workflows
-
Proficiency in Primavera P6 (preferred) and/or Microsoft Project

Experience with large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects

Tracy is originally from Long Island, NY (Go Giants!) but now resides in Maryland with her husband and daughter. She is an avid fan of the Peloton—especially Cody’s classes, enjoys a glass of wine while relaxing with her family and friends, likes spending time honing her chalk art skills, and loves playing with Bailey Rose, the cutest Zuchon in existence. Tracy has big plans to travel across the US in an RV one day.
