Reporting to an exceptional CFO, the Controller will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting strategic decision-making. This role requires a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and effective collaboration with cross functional teams and senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate financial documents by establishing reconciliation procedures, schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data.
• Provides status of financial condition by daily oversite of banking and other metrics, collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
• Record Asset acquisitions and disposals, as well as maintain depreciation records.
• Collaborate with upper management to identify opportunities for cost reduction, liability management, and intercompany balance review on a quarterly and year-end basis.
• Demonstrate accountability and critical thinking in driving financial integrity and supporting business decisions.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.
• Provide support to all departments in relation to any financial necessities.
• Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 15+ years of experience in GL Accounting
- Must have international consolidations experience
- Must have experience leading an audit.
- Experience with financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- ERP systems experience
