Job Description
As the Senior Tax Accountant, you will manage direct and indirect tax processes, including tax provision calculations, compliance for sales and use tax, and property tax functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions.
- Maintain deferred tax records and analyze temporary differences.
- Calculate effective tax rates on consolidated and individual levels.
- Review and confirm financial data for external tax return preparation.
- File quarterly and annual estimates and extensions, reconciling any provision-to-return differences.
- Support external audits and prepare essential tax data.
- Manage monthly journal entries and reconciliations for various tax categories.
- Handle business license renewals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in tax functions
- Solid knowledge of ASC 740 and strong research abilities.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ.
Alexa resides in Philadelphia with her husband, Liam, and son, Clark. Alexa until recently served on the board of The Caring Center where she chaired the fundraising committee. She is an active member of the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia and participates in their Women’s Leadership Development Program. In addition, Alexa serves on the Germantown Friends School Parents Committee. She enjoys travel, working out, cooking, and an excellent single malt scotch.
