Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
- Financial Close & Reporting: Lead the month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reviewing variances to ensure accurate reporting.
- Audit Collaboration: Serve as a point of contact for external auditors, preparing required documentation and responding to inquiries.
- General Ledger Oversight: Maintain and support ledger activities for reliable financial reporting.
- Accounts Payable Management: Handle invoice processing and approvals, dedicating part of your week to AP functions.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll for all employees, including reviewing expense reports and processing ad hoc payments.
- Process Evaluation & Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline procedures and enhance accuracy.
- Special Projects: Participate in various finance projects and ad hoc analyses, helping drive business improvements.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of accounting experience, with progressive responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Clear communicator, able to convey complex financial concepts to multiple stakeholders
- Skilled in accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable and flexible, able to handle changing priorities and evolving responsibilities
