We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator with expertise in PeopleSoft and multi-state payroll processing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees across various states, adhering to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile multi-state payroll using PeopleSoft software.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations.
- Maintain payroll records, including garnishments, benefits, and deductions.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate data for payroll processing.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with PeopleSoft payroll systems.
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
