Top Stack Group has been retained by a manufacturing company to assist them in hiring an IT Technician.


Summary: Provide technical and administrative support for Microsoft and VMware environments, and a variety of applications. Maintain adequate knowledge of existing hardware and software in use to maximize efficiency.


Essential duties and responsibilities:

· Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating systems and applications.

· Provide computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by users.

· Monitor backups, disaster recovery, security logs, open tickets, and internet connectivity.

· Maintain documentation of network and server environment.

· Occasional after-hours work.

· All duties as assigned by manager.



· Possess a high degree of proficiency with Server 2019 & 2022, Windows 10, VMware, and applications such as Office and Visio.

· ERP experience is a plus.

· Knowledge of MS SQL server.

· Understanding of VPNs and Meraki Firewalls.

· Demonstrate a high degree of problem-solving ability and initiative.

· Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

· Must be able to work independently in a team-oriented environment.

· Possess the ability to meet required deadlines.

· Must possess excellent communications skills.

· Highly organized, detail-oriented individual that can handle multi-tasking and shifting priorities.


Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • · Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
