Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPANY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Provide Tier 2 support for electronic data interchange (EDI) to Plan Operations and resolve errors related to benefit product EDI interfaces and account structures.
- Operationalize items related to benefit product EDI interfaces and coordinate the analysis and resolution of bugs with internal stakeholders, external benefits vendors, and IT Product Support.
- Obtain approval from internal business owners (Benefits, Operations, or IT) for EDI interface fixes and test solutions to ensure acceptable resolution.
- Coordinate external ACA year-end reporting and manage EDI external reporting with benefits vendors.
- Collaborate with the TELUS Health and Wellness platform and internal business owners to document requirements arising from changes in benefit products or new products added to the interface.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of work experience, with at least 5 years in Health and Wellness Benefits products and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with electronic data interchange (EDI) and troubleshooting EDI interface errors.
- Proficiency in querying and manipulating data using tools such as SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
