Job Description


Job Responsibilities:
  • Establish and enforce financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
  • Manage month-end close process in accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
  • Support financial planning and budgeting processes, provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business units
  • Financial reporting to stakeholders including supporting external audit and tax processes
  • Negotiate and interact with key vendors and partners
  • Monitoring and compliance of relevant rules and regulations, including sales tax
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and ERP systems
  • Active leader in growth initiatives
  • Strong levels of discretion and confidentiality

Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, or technology industry (CPA is a must)
  • Public accounting firm experience preferred
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong team player with leadership and management abilities. Ability to prioritize and be flexible
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software (prior ERP Implementation experience preferred)
  • Inter-company and Consolidation experience a plus
  • High levels of integrity and attention to detail
