Job Description


Top Stack is partnering with a growing healthcare organization to find a controller for their team. They offer a great work-life balance as well as competitive healthcare benefits! Once up to speed, this position will be on a hybrid schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal control processes to safeguard the company’s assets.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA, CPA, or equivalent preferred)
  • 5+ years of financial management experience; 2+ years of people management experience
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
