Job Description
Seeking a Business Analyst to serve as the primary liaison between business and IT teams, responsible for analyzing and validating project requirements in financial services operations, particularly in US equities and options trading, while leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize processes and drive business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPANY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support using Broadridge BPS and other financial systems, such as FIS Loanet and Smartloan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Broadridge BPS with other external systems.
- Liaise with external vendors, including Broadridge, to gather requirements, track project progress, and ensure timely delivery of goals.
- Understand and collect internal business and technical needs to optimize middle-office and back-office performance and develop new business lines/products.
- Coordinate with product development and management teams to verify project delivery from user acceptance testing (UAT) to production.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven knowledge and experience in brokerage operations, particularly in US stock and options trading and clearing processes, with a focus on middle and back-office systems data flow.
- Proven experience with Broadridge BPS and familiarity with its various end-of-day (EOD) reports.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries, as well as communication interface standard protocols like FIX and MQ.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ.
Alexa resides in Philadelphia with her husband, Liam, and son, Clark. Alexa until recently served on the board of The Caring Center where she chaired the fundraising committee. She is an active member of the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia and participates in their Women’s Leadership Development Program. In addition, Alexa serves on the Germantown Friends School Parents Committee. She enjoys travel, working out, cooking, and an excellent single malt scotch.
