Job Description


The Accounts Receivable Analyst will assist in the development and management of functional reporting pertaining to accounts receivable, bad debt expense and write offs. This position works with various shareholders to analyze large data sets, identify key metrics, and maintains reporting to assist management in accounting and reporting related to accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:
  • Development and management of reports and metrics, including DSO, historical A/R resolutions, and bad debt reserve calculations.
  • Utilize financial and operational data to create and provide actionable reports, providing commentary, insight, and variance analysis as needed.
  • Identify trends and potential areas for improvement within the organization, collaborating with management to develop action plans and drive process improvements.
  • Assist in the development of policies regarding accounting over A/R
  • Perform forward-thinking reporting and analysis to help management in AR
  • Ad-hoc analysis as needed.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with AR
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High degree of attention to detail and organization
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
