Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish and enforce financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
- Manage month-end close process in accurate and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
- Support financial planning and budgeting processes, provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business units
- Financial reporting to stakeholders including supporting external audit and tax processes
- Negotiate and interact with key vendors and partners
- Monitoring and compliance of relevant rules and regulations, including sales tax
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and ERP systems
- Active leader in growth initiatives
- Strong levels of discretion and confidentiality
Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, or technology industry (CPA is a must)
- Public accounting firm experience preferred
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Strong team player with leadership and management abilities. Ability to prioritize and be flexible
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software (prior ERP Implementation experience preferred)
- Inter-company and Consolidation experience a plus
- High levels of integrity and attention to detail

Originally a Maine native, Chris joined the staffing world in 2018 when he and his wife moved to PA to be closer to her family. He was promoted in 2020 to an executive search group, after being ranked in the Top 30 direct hire recruiters in their professional search division.
Chris was drawn into this industry by the freedom to control his own destiny and the reward of helping make a great match. His major goal in life is to provide more for his family than he grew up with, that has been what has motivated him his entire career. His deep appreciation for family originated from what his parents provided him growing up. In addition to his wife and three children, he has a dog named Baxter, and two cats named Frank and Murr.
During Chris's personal time he loves to travel, game, and play corn hole every Wednesday night at a local league.
